About The Founder

My name is Laura Guise. I graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2013 with a first class honours degree and have over ten years of Physiotherapy experience both within the public and private sector. I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics and within the community. 

My passion is working with individuals affected by neurological conditions and wherever possible I aim to enable independence via an individualised and holistic approach. This forms the basis of Neuro Physiotherapy Works. I find supporting clients to optimally manage their condition very fulfilling and feel grateful to have a job I truly love. Alongside this venture, I currently also work part time as a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist within the NHS and lead online exercise classes for a variety of neurological conditions. 

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN). I have completed a number of additional courses relevant to Neurological Physiotherapy and have recently studied Strength & Conditioning and Spasticity modules at masters level. 

Outside of work, I am normally found renovating my house with my husband, looking after our little boy or exercising myself. We have to practice what we preach with exercise and I love how alive a good workout or run makes me feel.   

Neuro Physiotherapy really does work and I'm looking forward to supporting new clients in 2025 and beyond.
